Eighteen Sound 18NLW4000

The Eighteen Sound 18NLW4000 is an 18-inch bass speaker designed for use in bass-reflex boxes. It can withstand high power levels without damage, providing clean and distortion-free lower frequency reproduction, even at high SPL.

Features

The 18NLW4000 is equipped with a single motor with a neodymium magnet, organized in a structure optimized for thermal and magnetic efficiency. Key features of the Eighteen Sound 18NLW4000 include a large suspension system, a reinforced membrane and a 4 ″ (100 mm) coil. The combination of all this allows an ultra-linear action of the moving mass and provides complete mechanical control over the entire working area.

In addition, the moving coil uses ISV - Interleaved Sandwich Voice Coil construction technology , which allows to provide high levels of thermal stability and durability. The ISV technology allows in fact to have a linear and balanced drive unit, which exerts an exceptionally high and stable force factor along the entire excursion of the membrane. All this thanks to the particularity of this technology, which provides that the windings of the coil unit are anchored to both sides of the trainer. In this way, in fact, the weight distribution of the coil is perfectly symmetrical, and the heat dissipation surface doubled.
