The 15W500 is intended for use in bass reflex loaded multi-track systems. The curved profile design of the membrane eliminates resonances within the working frequency range. The cone is supported by multionda canvas suspensions, specially treated to control the excursion while maintaining the linearity of the piston movement.

In addition, the 15W500 also uses ISV - Interleaved Sandwich Voice Coil technology , used in many of the higher end woofers . Here too, in fact, the support of the high-strength fiberglass coil supports the windings on both of its surfaces. The result is a balanced coil with a uniform mass distribution. All this translates into an extremely linear motor unit. Finally, the coil is cooled by incorporating ducts that allow the exhausted air to be expelled and dissipated from the basket frame.
