Eighteen Sound 12MB700

The Eighteen Sound 12MB700 medium-low speaker  shows exceptional efficiency and is mainly intended for very compact 2-way reflex systems (about 75 liters) or in 3-way or horn-loaded systems. This speaker combines monstrous sensitivity ( 101.5 dB SPL  1W / 1m) with high power management capability.

The paper cone, in combination with the treated multionda suspensions, provides excellent control of the excursion of the cone and resistance to humidity. The 75mm aluminum coil features the same technology as the high-end models:  ISV - Interleaved Sandwich Voice Coil . The result is an extremely linear motor, with a reduced tendency to eccentric behavior when it is particularly stressed.

In addition, the maximum concentration of magnetic flux is ensured by the unique shape and design of the polar plates, designed using specific CAD software. The already excellent characteristics of the 12MB700 improve further thanks to the DDR - Double Demodulating Rings technology , in which the double demodulating rings reduce the harmonic distortion and improve the response to transients.

Due to the growing use of audio systems for outdoor events, operating in adverse weather conditions is a key feature of the Eighteen Sound 12MB700. This is achieved by using cone treatment processes with magnetic plate, which allow the diffuser to resist corrosion and make the cone water-repellent.
