HARRIS SUPER SEAL 1 GAL

Super Seal Premium Bonding Primer/Sealer is a sealer for porous surfaces which is designed to penetrate the capillary structure, binding the particles to leave the surface dust-free and with improved resistance to abrasion. Super Seal forms a tough protective coating that has good resistance to many oils, alkalis and commonly used chemicals. The structure is allowed to breathe naturally.

7-10m2 per litre (280-400 sq. ft./ US gal)
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Ensure surfaces are clean and free of loosely adhering dust and particles. On vertical
surfaces, brush on Super Seal Primer/Sealer with a soft bristle brush in a liberal coating,
ensuring penetration into the surface. On floors, apply Super Seal with a soft broom or
squeegee working surplus materials into adjacent untreated areas. 

normally dry tack free within 2-4 hours dependent on ventilation and temperatures. Allow
6 hours before applying subsequent coats.
For normal applications, 2 coats are necessary for a full treatment and the degree of
resistance required. Super Seal should be applied to completely fill the surface pores and
leave a surface sheen. Heavy duty areas subject to exceptional wear may be re-treated,
after cleaning with a single coat of Super Seal to restore full protection. Do not apply to
non-porous surfaces (e.g., quarry tiles, certain types of dense bricks, etc). In areas of wear,
the surface sheen will dull and give a whitish appearance. Super Seal yellows on direct
exposure to sunlight. Do not use as a clear topcoat on white or lightly coloured external
surfaces.

GENERAL SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be sound, dry, clean and free of oil, grease, dirt, mildew, form release
agents, curing compounds and loose and flaking paint.
NEW SURFACES
Concrete and Masonry: Can be applied by brush, broom or squeegee to damp, freshly laid
cement surfaces to act as a curing membrane and / or as protective barrier coat to allow
early application of paint decoration of the surface before cement has fully cured. Spray
application of Super Seal Primer/Sealer is not recommended.
Wood: Can be applied to interior wood to act as a sealer and primer.
PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES
Super Seal Premium Bonding Primer/Sealer is ideal for sealing old, dusty, chalky surfaces
before top coating with an emulsion paint. Scrub heavily chalked or dusty areas with
detergent and water and allow to air dry. Then treat surfaces with Super Seal and allow to
dry before applying Ulttima Plus Emulsion topcoat. primer specified under
